Effect of High-Energy Shot Peening on Properties of High-Velocity Oxygen-Fuel Spraying

A Cr3C2-Al2O3-NiCr composite coating was prepared on an INCONEL600 alloy surface through high-velocity oxygen-fuel spraying followed by further processing high-energy shot peening to create the coating. The microhardness and friction properties of are analyzed a tester reciprocating tester. microscopic structure wear trace were scanning electron microscope (SEM). element distribution energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). porosity detected industrial CT. phase residual stress tested X-ray diffraction (XRD). electrochemical corrosion performance samples under different states discussed. results showed that compactness improved significantly reduced after peening. did not alter composition but introduced compressive stress. theCr3C2-Al2O3-NiCr can reach 2.9 times substrate, hardness 3.9 substrate. After peening, resistance in HCl solution is improved. Compared with coefficient calculated rate decrease 62.5% 79.6%, respectively. 75% 98.7%,
